Robust professional size scarifier

Mantovani SC45 is a 45 cm wide scarifier, designed and built in Italy to deliver consistent performance over time thanks to its long-life blades and to be a reliable tool for gardeners, lawn maintenance companies and groundsmen.

Transmission is via a double toothed-belt for constant grip and power transmission with a built-in belt tensioner on a 60mm double bearing which maintains a proper belt tension and reduces wear - reducing normal maintenance work.

Powerful and well-designed

Designed for to deliver many hours of continuous operation, the SC45 is Ideal for the maintenance of medium sized lawns, parks, home gardens and sports fields. The knives are heat treated for durability and are spring loaded which allows both verticutting, with vertical cuts from about half an inch deep, and the gentle removal of thatch by skimming the soil.

The wheels are solid for better stability when cutting into uneven ground and the height adjustment at the front is a simple threaded knob with large handgrip and a locking bar.The drive belt is armoured so can withstand heavy sustained use or regular on and off.
