Professional training for application of pesticides
Since 2015, anyone purchasing or using professional-grade pesticides (PPP) must hold a relevant certificate of competence. Training and assessments are required for each unit and the qualifications from the awarding bodies; either LANTRA or City & Guilds, are nationally recognised in whatever sector you work in. The following units are focussed on types of application equipment and form the core requirements for most professional spray operators in the agriculture, sports, amenity, horticulture, and forestry sectors.
Courses are available in the Ely (CB6) area. If you have a group training and/ or Assessment requirement of 2-6 people, our trainers will also travel to your location.
Courses are also available for PA5 – Boat mounted sprayers, PA6PP and PA6INJ – Applying pesticide plugs and Stem injection by arrangement.
We hope to show regular training dates shortly, but please do not hesitate to contact us for more information.
